I love this job because everyday I listen to people of all ages and backgrounds,

but I don’t teach them to them play like me,

I simply help them play like themselves.

Teaching Philosophy:

Hoang’s interpretive values lie within the Italian roots of the Bel Canto Style. Mentors have included Dr. Dmitri Vorobiev and Roberto Plano.

Following the same technical principles of Đặng Thái Sơn.

Supported by the French teachings of Marie Jaell.

Performance opportunities:

Students will have the chance to give performances across stages in North Carolina. Advanced students preparing for auditions or competitions, as well as artists who may be in their more developmental years will find supportive environments and audiences where they may explore and share their work and creativity.

Eric Hoang was a federal Pell Grant recipient and believes in equal opportunity and education. Inquire more about studio fees and possible need-based scholarships. Available thanks to many individual donors and supporters of this studio and Arts Councils across North Carolina.
